I am 3 weeks and 3 days from 2010. A good friend, who has unknowingly helped me thru 2009 with a lot, has his own blog spot here. I thought I would start my own. I need to thank this person some day.

In 2009 there were highs and lows. Mostly highs, and the lows are thankfully being rehabililtated (continually and beautifully) and have really changed my life.

Highs are (1) Attaining my Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries; (2) Running in 2 half marathons - Rock-n-Roll Chicago on Aug 2 and The NFEC on Sept 26; (3) doing 101 consecutive pushups in the hundredpushups.com challenge (4) Starting a business - my hobby of woodworking into producing income (aka Holm Made Creations).

Watch this thread daily, weekly, monthly or whatever. I will be visiting often to update you on my 2010 issues, accompishments, challenges, thank-you's and whatever else. I hope to entertain as well as learn and hear from others as well. Thanks, and have a great 2010 e'one!
